The Hat says it all...

Now some of you may wonder why am I out celebrating Cinco de Mayo when just 5 days ago I was dancing on one knee at Greek Easter. And some of you may think you know the answer, "any excuse to drink, Gil will be there". To that I say "HA!!" you don't me very well. In fact it has been 8 years since I needed an excuse to drink. The simple reason is I am cultured, and you apparently are not. I feel it is important to embrace all the strange and extremely misguided cultures that I am inundated by on a regular basis. So I go put on a hat and a smiley face and pretend to embrace them by drinking coronas and doing the Mexican hat dance (my version of it). But seriously how often do I get to see a Korean drunk wearing a sombrero ( a very stylish at that) and a corona shirt choosing to acknowledge all that Mexican can be proud of. So thank you for that inspiring choice of dress.
As you may now be aware I drink a lot, but I do not do it alone so thank you to all my fellow inebriants for there support in my time of quiet desperation, thank you for reminding me there is always someone more drunk than I am, thank you for keeping me smiling with your terribly embarrassing faces you make when I point the camera in your direction. Just thank you for being worse off than me... I love you all.
